Work Experience

Supporting your learning

Unfortunately, we are not currently accepting expressions of interest in work experience due to high demand. Please check back intermittently, as we will be reopening applications whenever possible.

We are committed to providing enriching work experience for students. We aim to provide a comprehensive programme of activity to allow students to engage with our wide range of projects, from coaching primary aged children all the way through to supporting our older people's delivery, and supporting the running of programmes behind the scenes too. This comprehensive programme of activity will be undertaken over the course of one week, with students spending time with each of our departments during your time with us.

Please note that if you are over the age of 16 you will need to already have a valid DBS before applying for work experience with us.

Whilst we make every effort to offer placements to as many students as possible, we unfortunately cannot guarantee placements to all applicants and will therefore prioritise students with a genuine interest in what we can offer at Derby County Community Trust.
